Feeding and Orientation: Cashews are fed into the machine’s hopper via a conveyor belt. An internal orientation mechanism properly positions each nut before it enters the shelling station.
Shelling: A rotating cutter head or fixed blade applies pressure along the seam of the cashew shell, cutting it open without damaging the kernel.
Shell-Kernel Separation: The mixture resulting from shell cracking enters the separation system, where shells and kernels are separated using screens with varying aperture sizes.
Discharge: The separation system discharges the clean kernels through the outlet, and the shells and debris through the waste outlet.

Carbon Steel Structure: Carbon steel construction gives the main unit a robust structure that suits continuous operation.
Protective Housing: The housing prevents shell fragments from scattering during operation and directs the crushed shells downward for discharge.
Shell-Cracking Rate: Depending on the specific model and raw material conditions, the shell-cracking rate can reach approximately 90%–95%, while the kernel damage rate (kernel breakage rate) is typically below 5%.
The breakage rate is approximately 5% or lower. The result depends on the quality, moisture content, and size of the cashews, as well as the machine’s settings.
