Tree Shaker Features
Fruit Types
The fruit-shaking machine accommodates tree trunk diameters of up to 280 mm, meeting the harvesting needs of various fruit trees. During operation, the operator can select the appropriate clamping position and vibration duration based on trunk diameter, bark condition, and fruit maturity.
Amplitude
The clamping mechanism operates with an amplitude of no more than 5 cm and a vibration frequency of 10–12 Hz. Optimal vibration parameters facilitate the detachment of mature fruit while minimizing impact on the trunk and branches.
Operating Height
The operating height is 2–3 meters, with a maximum shaker head extension of 2,000 mm. For trees with large canopies or uneven fruit maturity, the equipment allows for position adjustments to apply vibration to the trunk in sections or multiple stages.
Self-propelled Design
The equipment features a power system that allows the operator to maneuver the machine and perform tree-shaking operations from the driving position, thereby reducing the need for a multi-person crew and increasing fruit harvesting efficiency.

Proper Operation of the Pecan Tree Shaker
- Before operating the equipment, check the diesel engine, hydraulic system, tires, clamping mechanism, and hydraulic lines to ensure they are in good working order. Ensure the area is clear of personnel before driving the machine toward the target tree.
- When clamping the tree, avoid attaching the clamp to sections of the trunk that show significant cracking, signs of rot, or excessive leaning.
- Once vibration begins, monitor the fruit’s maturity and the rate of fruit drop. Stop the vibration promptly once the majority of the ripe fruit has fallen.
- After operations are complete, remove any mud, leaves, and fruit husks from the clamping mechanism and the machine’s exterior to ensure it is ready for future use.

Tree Shaker Machine Advantages
Harvesting Efficiency
Mechanical vibration ensures rapid fruit detachment, reducing labor costs and repetitive manual work.
Fruit Varieties
Beyond pecans, the equipment is suitable for walnuts, dates, olives, chestnuts, pistachios, and ginkgo trees.
Large-Scale Orchard Management
Mechanized harvesting enables standardized scheduling and greater control over the harvest process. It is well-suited for long-term use in commercial orchards, farms, and nut production bases.
