Vegetable Washing Process Flow
Raw material input → Sorting and conveying → High-pressure spray washing → Conveying → Cutting/processing → Tank lifting → Bubble washing → Vibratory draining → Air drying → Blanching or further processing
This equipment processes leafy vegetables. For root and tuber products, manufacturers can add a cutting machine, tank-to-conveyor lifter, and blanching line to the setup.
Vegetable Washing Line Equipment
Vegetable Sorting Conveyor
This stage involves the manual inspection and sorting of vegetables, along with the removal of roots, yellowed leaves, and obvious impurities. Operators perform the sorting while positioned on both sides of the conveyor belt.

High-Pressure Vegetable Washer
The machine performs a second rinse to remove soil, grit, and surface stains from vegetables. High-pressure spray systems on both sides direct water jets from above, below, or the sides while a stainless steel mesh belt conveys the vegetables through the unit. A recirculating water tank filters the water and sends it back into the washing process for reuse.
| Total Power | 380V / 50Hz, Transmission: 1.5kW |
| Water Pump | 5kW |
| Effective Conveyor Mesh Belt Width | 600 / 800 mm |
| Whole Machine Material | 304 Stainless Steel |

Vegetable Conveyor and Cutter
After washing, the vegetables are transported to the cutting area via a conveyor. The conveyor utilizes a herringbone-pattern modular mesh belt, a design that facilitates the installation of discharge hoppers, collection bins, or packaging equipment. The cutting machine cuts vegetables into segments, cubes, or pieces of specific lengths. It processes 100–3,000 kg/h and lets operators adjust the cutting length from 1 to 60 mm to meet different product requirements.
| Conveyor | Transmission Power: 0.37kW / 380V / 50Hz Effective Conveyor Belt Width: 600 / 800 mm |
| Vegetable Cutter | Capacity: 100–3000 kg/hour Cutting Size: 1–60 mm Power: 0.75kW Material: 304 Stainless Steel |

Bubble Cleaning Machine
This equipment employs a bubble-washing method to thoroughly clean vegetables. A blower delivers air to the bottom of the tank, generating bubbles. The tank features a sloped bottom design to ensure more complete drainage.
| Total Power | 380V / 50Hz, Transmission: 1.5kW |
| Air Bubble | 3kW |
| Water Pump | 3kW |
| Effective Conveyor Mesh Belt Width | 600 / 800 mm |

Vegetable Air-Drying Line
The air-drying unit in the vegetable washing line uses a high-pressure blower to generate airflow that blows water droplets off the surface of the vegetables. Protective screens are installed on both sides to prevent the vegetables from being blown away.
| Mesh Belt Width | 600 / 800 / 1000 mm |
| Fans | 2 units per meter |
| Power | 0.75kW per unit |
| Fan Speed | 2800 r/min |
| Air Volume | 2700 m³/h |
| Air Pressure | 1300 Pa |
