Centrifugal Spray Dryer Working Principle
- First, the air is purified by a filtration system, then heated by a heater, and subsequently enters the air distributor at the top of the dryer.
- Second, the hot air enters the drying chamber in a spiral pattern, creating a stable hot air environment within the tower.
- Then, the liquid feed is pumped to a high-speed centrifugal atomizer at the top of the tower, where it is dispersed into fine mist droplets by high-speed rotation.
- Finally, these droplets flow in parallel with the hot air, evaporating the moisture in a short time to ultimately form a dried powder or granular product.


Spray Dryer Components
This equipment consists of an air filter, blower, heater, raw material tank, feed pump, atomizer, drying tower, primary cyclone separator, secondary dust collector, induced draft fan, and wet scrubbing system.
- Air filter: Ensures clean air entering the system.
- Blower: Responsible for delivering air.
- Heater: Can be electric, steam, fuel oil, natural gas, or coal-fired.
- Raw material tank and feed pump: Ensure liquid materials enter the atomization system.
